Experiential Learning Grant

The West Platte Education Foundation offers grants to district teachers for the purpose of
promoting the diversity of their professional experiences and encouraging a well-rounded
education. Teachers will gain from the personal growth obtained through these programs and
will be better able to pass along the excitement of learning to their students.

Thanks to the Archambault family’s generous donation to the West Platte Education
Foundation Teacher Grant program teachers can apply to receive a one-of-a-kind Experiential
Learning Grant in memory of Chase Archambault. Chase Archamault attended West Platte
School District as a 7th grader during the 2020-2021 school year. Chase died due to injuries he
sustained in a car accident. Chase left a legacy of always being curious and willing to learn
new things. The West Platte Education Foundation wants to honor Chase’s memory by igniting
that same passion and love for learning within the educators of the West Platte School District.

The amount of money awarded annually for each grant will be commensurate with the scope of
the grant and its immediate and ongoing value to the education of West Platte students. The
amount of the applicant’s request will be initially considered by the Teacher Grant Committee
and recommended for final approval and/or modification to the West Platte Education
Foundation.

What People are Saying

"Receiving the scholarships I did helped tremendously with assisting me in focusing more on my education and less on working. This kept me on track with the transition between high school and college difficulty classes."
